Prioritization of VOCs Emitted from Co-Processing Cement Kiln Using a Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process Method

The violate organic compounds (VOCs) emission from co-processing cement kiln has not been comprehensively investigated and evaluated. In this study, we sampled determined the VOCs emitted a typical in Beijing, China. characteristics, ozone formation potential (OFP), main odor components for gas were analyzed. Additionally, Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) was innovatively applied to estimate priority VOCs. study shows that aromatic (36.6%) oxygen contained (O-VOCs) (30.3%) most abundant VOCs, with high average concentration of benzene (1622.0 μg/m3) acrolein (1105.5 μg/m3). Acrolein, propene, benzene, 1-butane, 1,3-butadiene dominate OFP compounds, corresponding 8325.6, 3768.2, 1167.9, 1065.9, 1027.2 μg/m3, respectively. Acrolein also found be component. Eleven including one O-VOC, halohydrocarbon, nine alkenes, screened out by F-AHP. Alkene category important VOC stack gas. results are helpful systematically understand VOCs’ OFP, components, kiln, provide new method screening compounds.
